কুরআনে অনুসন্ধান

ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ذٰلِكَ​​ۚ فَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهٗ لَـكُنۡتُمۡ مِّنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ‏

But you went back (on your word), and but for the mercy and grace of God you were lost.

وَكَذٰلِكَ جَعَلۡنٰكُمۡ اُمَّةً وَّسَطًا لِّتَکُوۡنُوۡا شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَيَكُوۡنَ الرَّسُوۡلُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ شَهِيۡدًا ؕ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا الۡقِبۡلَةَ الَّتِىۡ كُنۡتَ عَلَيۡهَآ اِلَّا لِنَعۡلَمَ مَنۡ يَّتَّبِعُ الرَّسُوۡلَ مِمَّنۡ يَّنۡقَلِبُ عَلٰى عَقِبَيۡهِ ​ؕ وَاِنۡ كَانَتۡ لَكَبِيۡرَةً اِلَّا عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ هَدَى اللّٰهُ ؕ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُضِيْعَ اِيۡمَانَكُمۡ​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَءُوۡفٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏

We have made you a temperate people that you act as witness over man, and the Prophet as witness over you. We decreed the Qiblah which you faced before that We may know who follow the Apostle and who turn away in haste. And this was a hard (test) except for those who were guided by God. But God will not suffer your faith to go waste, for God is to men full of mercy and grace.

اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ صَلَوٰتٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّهِمۡ وَرَحۡمَةٌ​ وَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡمُهۡتَدُوۡنَ‏

On such men are the blessings of God and His mercy, for they are indeed on the right path.

لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللّٰهُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَهَا ​ؕ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَيۡهَا مَا اكۡتَسَبَتۡ​ؕ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَاۤ اِنۡ نَّسِيۡنَاۤ اَوۡ اَخۡطَاۡنَا ​ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَاۤ اِصۡرًا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهٗ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِنَا ​​ۚرَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهٖ​ ۚ وَاعۡفُ عَنَّا وَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَارۡحَمۡنَا اَنۡتَ مَوۡلٰٮنَا فَانۡصُرۡنَا عَلَى الۡقَوۡمِ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ‏ 

God does not burden a soul beyond capacity. Each will enjoy what (good) he earns, as indeed each will suffer from (the wrong) he does. Punish us not, O Lord, if we fail to remember or lapse into error. Burden us not, O Lord, with a burden as You did those before us. Impose not upon us a burden, O Lord, we cannot carry. Overlook our trespasses and forgive us, and have mercy upon us; You are our Lord and Master, help us against the clan of unbelievers.

وَاَطِيۡعُوا اللّٰهَ وَالرَّسُوۡلَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُوۡنَ​ۚ‏

Obey God and the Prophet, that you may be treated with mercy.

وَلَٮِٕنۡ قُتِلۡتُمۡ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ اَوۡ مُتُّمۡ لَمَغۡفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرَحۡمَةٌ خَيۡرٌ مِّمَّا يَجۡمَعُوۡنَ‏

If you are killed in the cause of God or you die, the forgiveness and mercy of God are better than all that you amass.

فَبِمَا رَحۡمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ لِنۡتَ لَهُمۡ​ۚ وَلَوۡ كُنۡتَ فَظًّا غَلِيۡظَ الۡقَلۡبِ لَانْفَضُّوۡا مِنۡ حَوۡلِكَ​ فَاعۡفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَاسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ وَشَاوِرۡهُمۡ فِى الۡاَمۡرِ​ۚ فَاِذَا عَزَمۡتَ فَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى اللّٰهِ​ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُتَوَكِّلِيۡنَ‏

It was through God's mercy that you dealt with them gently; for had you been stern and hard of heart they would surely have broken away from you. So pardon them and pray that forgiveness be theirs, and seek their counsel in all affairs, And when you have come to a decision place your trust in God alone, for He loves those who place their trust in Him.

يَسۡتَبۡشِرُوۡنَ بِنِعۡمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَفَضۡلٍۙ وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُضِيۡعُ اَجۡرَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ  ۛۚ‏

They rejoice at the kindness and mercy of God; and God does not suffer the wages of the faithful to go waste.

وَاِذَا جَآءَهُمۡ اَمۡرٌ مِّنَ الۡاَمۡنِ اَوِ الۡخَـوۡفِ اَذَاعُوۡا بِهٖ​ ۚ وَلَوۡ رَدُّوۡهُ اِلَى الرَّسُوۡلِ وَاِلٰٓى اُولِى الۡاَمۡرِ مِنۡهُمۡ لَعَلِمَهُ الَّذِيۡنَ يَسۡتَنۡۢبِطُوۡنَهٗ مِنۡهُمۡ​ؕ وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهٗ لَاتَّبَعۡتُمُ الشَّيۡطٰنَ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلًا‏

And when any tidings of peace or war come to them they spread the news around. Had they gone to the Prophet or those in authority among them, then those who check and scrutinize would have known it, And but for the favour of God and His mercy you would certainly have followed Satan, except a few.

فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ عَسَى اللّٰهُ اَنۡ يَّعۡفُوَ عَنۡهُمۡ​ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَفُوًّا غَفُوۡرًا‏

May well hope for the mercy of God; and God is full of mercy and grace.

وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكَ وَرَحۡمَتُهٗ لَهَمَّتۡ طَّآٮِٕفَةٌ مِّنۡهُمۡ اَنۡ يُّضِلُّوۡكَ ؕ وَمَا يُضِلُّوۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ​ وَمَا يَضُرُّوۡنَكَ مِنۡ شَىۡءٍ ​ؕ وَاَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡكَ الۡكِتٰبَ وَالۡحِكۡمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمۡ تَكُنۡ تَعۡلَمُ​ؕ وَكَانَ فَضۡلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكَ عَظِيۡمًا‏

But for the mercy of God and His grace you would certainly have been misled by a section of them; yet they could not mislead you but themselves alone, and could do you no harm, for God has revealed to you the Book and the Law, and taught you what you did not know. Great have been the blessings of God on you.

يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡكِتٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُوۡا فِىۡ دِيۡـنِكُمۡوَلَا تَقُوۡلُوۡا عَلَى اللّٰهِ اِلَّا الۡحَـقَّ​ ؕ اِنَّمَا الۡمَسِيۡحُ عِيۡسَى ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰهِ وَكَلِمَتُهٗ​ ۚ اَ لۡقٰٮهَاۤ اِلٰى مَرۡيَمَ وَرُوۡحٌ مِّنۡهُ​ فَاٰمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِهٖ​ ​ۚ وَلَا تَقُوۡلُوۡا ثَلٰثَةٌ​ ؕ اِنْتَهُوۡا خَيۡرًا لَّـكُمۡ​ ؕ اِنَّمَا اللّٰهُ اِلٰـهٌ وَّاحِدٌ​ ؕ سُبۡحٰنَهٗۤ اَنۡ يَّكُوۡنَ لَهٗ وَلَدٌ​ ۘ لَهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ​ؕ وَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ وَكِيۡلًا‏

O people of the Book, do not be fanatical in your faith, and say nothing but the truth about God. The Messiah who is Jesus, son of Mary, was only an apostle of God, and a command of His which He sent to Mary, as a mercy from Him. So believe in God and His apostles, and do not call Him 'Trinity'. Abstain from this for your own good; for God is only one God, and far from His glory is it to beget a son. All that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him; and sufficient is God for all help.

فَاَمَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَاعۡتَصَمُوۡا بِهٖ فَسَيُدۡخِلُهُمۡ فِىۡ رَحۡمَةٍ مِّنۡهُ وَفَضۡلٍۙ وَّيَهۡدِيۡهِمۡ اِلَيۡهِ صِرَاطًا مُّسۡتَقِيۡمًا ؕ‏

So those who believe in God and hold fast to Him shall indeed be received into His mercy and His grace, and be guided to Him the straight path.

مَنۡ يُّصۡرَفۡ عَنۡهُ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ فَقَدۡ رَحِمَهٗ​ؕ وَ ذٰ لِكَ الۡـفَوۡزُ الۡمُبِيۡنُ‏

Whosoever is spared that Day will surely have mercy shown to him, and this will be a clear triumph.

فَاِنۡ كَذَّبُوۡكَ فَقُلْ رَّبُّكُمۡ ذُوۡ رَحۡمَةٍ وَّاسِعَةٍ​ ۚ وَلَا يُرَدُّ بَاۡسُهٗ عَنِ الۡقَوۡمِ الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ‏

If they call you a liar, tell them infinite is the mercy of your Lord; but His vengeance will not be turned back from the sinners.

قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمۡنَاۤ اَنۡفُسَنَا وَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا وَتَرۡحَمۡنَا لَـنَكُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ‏

They said: "O our Lord, we have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we shall certainly be lost."

اَهٰٓؤُلَۤاءِ الَّذِيۡنَ اَقۡسَمۡتُمۡ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِرَحۡمَةٍ ​ؕ اُدۡخُلُوا الۡجَـنَّةَ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ تَحۡزَنُوۡنَ‏

(Then pointing to the inmates of Paradise, they will say): "Are they not those of whom you had sworn and said: 'God will not have mercy on them?' (And yet they have been told,) 'Enter Paradise where you will have no fear or regret.'"

اَوَعَجِبۡتُمۡ اَنۡ جَآءَكُمۡ ذِكۡرٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّكُمۡ عَلٰى رَجُلٍ مِّنۡكُمۡ لِيُنۡذِرَكُمۡ وَلِتَـتَّقُوۡا وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُوۡنَ‏

Do you wonder that a warning has come to you from your Lord through a man who is one of you, and warns you to take heed for yourselves and fear God? You might be treated with mercy."

وَاخۡتَارَ مُوۡسٰى قَوۡمَهٗ سَبۡعِيۡنَ رَجُلًا لِّمِيۡقَاتِنَا​ ۚ فَلَمَّاۤ اَخَذَتۡهُمُ الرَّجۡفَةُ قَالَ رَبِّ لَوۡ شِئۡتَ اَهۡلَـكۡتَهُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلُ وَاِيَّاىَ​ ؕ اَ تُهۡلِكُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ السُّفَهَآءُ مِنَّا ۚ اِنۡ هِىَ اِلَّا فِتۡنَـتُكَ ؕ تُضِلُّ بِهَا مَنۡ تَشَآءُ وَتَهۡدِىۡ مَنۡ تَشَآءُ ​ؕ اَنۡتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا وَارۡحَمۡنَا​ وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الۡغَافِرِيۡنَ‏

Moses chose seventy of his people for the appointment (on Mount Sinai). When they arrived they were seized by a tremor. (Moses) said: "O Lord, if You had so pleased You could have annihilated them and me before this. Will You destroy us for something the foolish among us have done? This is but a trial from You whereby You will lead whom You will astray and guide whom You please. You are our saviour, so forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the best of forgivers.

وَاكۡتُبۡ لَـنَا فِىۡ هٰذِهِ الدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ اِنَّا هُدۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ ​ؕ قَالَ عَذَابِىۡۤ اُصِيۡبُ بِهٖ مَنۡ اَشَآءُ​ ۚ وَرَحۡمَتِىۡ وَسِعَتۡ كُلَّ شَىۡءٍ​ ؕ فَسَاَكۡتُبُهَا لِلَّذِيۡنَ يَتَّقُوۡنَ وَيُؤۡتُوۡنَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَالَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ بِاٰيٰتِنَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ​ۚ‏

Enjoin for us good in the world, and good in the world to come. We turn to You alone." And the Lord said: "I punish only those whom I will, but My mercy enfolds everything. I shall enjoin it for those who take heed for themselves, who pay the zakat and believe in My signs,

يُبَشِّرُهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ بِرَحۡمَةٍ مِّنۡهُ وَرِضۡوَانٍ وَّجَنّٰتٍ لَّهُمۡ فِيۡهَا نَعِيۡمٌ مُّقِيۡمٌ ۙ‏

Their Lord announces to them news of His mercy, acceptance, and gardens of lasting bliss

وَمِنَ الۡاَعۡرَابِ مَنۡ يُّؤۡمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَالۡيَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنۡفِقُ قُرُبٰتٍ عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ وَصَلَوٰتِ الرَّسُوۡلِ​ؕ اَلَاۤ اِنَّهَا قُرۡبَةٌ لَّهُمۡ​ؕ سَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ اللّٰهُ فِىۡ رَحۡمَتِهٖ​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏ 

Yet some Arabs of the desert believe in God and the Last Day, and consider what they spend to be a means of bringing them nearer to God and the blessings of the Prophet. This is certainly a means of achieving nearness (to God), and God will admit them to His mercy, for God is forgiving and kind.

لَـقَدْ تَّابَ اللّٰهُ عَلَى النَّبِىِّ وَالۡمُهٰجِرِيۡنَ وَالۡاَنۡصَارِ الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّبَعُوۡهُ فِىۡ سَاعَةِ الۡعُسۡرَةِ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيۡغُ قُلُوۡبُ فَرِيۡقٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ​ؕ اِنَّهٗ بِهِمۡ رَءُوۡفٌ رَّحِيۡمٌۙ ‏

God was kind to the Prophet, the emigrants, and the helpers of the faithful who followed him in the hour of distress. When a section of them were about to lose courage He turned to them in His mercy, for He is compassionate and kind.

وَاِذَاۤ اَذَقۡنَا النَّاسَ رَحۡمَةً مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتۡهُمۡ اِذَا لَهُمۡ مَّكۡرٌ فِىۡۤ اٰيَاتِنَا​ ؕ قُلِ اللّٰهُ اَسۡرَعُ مَكۡرًا​ ؕ اِنَّ رُسُلَنَا يَكۡتُبُوۡنَ مَا تَمۡكُرُوۡنَ‏

When We let them taste Our mercy after affliction, they contrive against Our signs. Say: "God is swifter at contriving," for Our angels record everything you plan.

قُلۡ بِفَضۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَبِرَحۡمَتِهٖ فَبِذٰلِكَ فَلۡيَـفۡرَحُوۡا ؕ هُوَ خَيۡرٌ مِّمَّا يَجۡمَعُوۡنَ‏

Say: "It is the blessing and mercy of God; so rejoice in it. It is better than all that you amass."

قَالَ سَاٰوِىۡۤ اِلٰى جَبَلٍ يَّعۡصِمُنِىۡ مِنَ الۡمَآءِ​ؕ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ الۡيَوۡمَ مِنۡ اَمۡرِ اللّٰهِ اِلَّا مَنۡ رَّحِمَ​ۚ وَحَالَ بَيۡنَهُمَا الۡمَوۡجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الۡمُغۡرَقِيۡنَ‏

"I shall go up a mountain," he said, "which will keep me from the water." "There is no getting away," said Noah, "from the decree of God today, except for those on whom be His mercy." And a wave came between them, and he was among those who were drowned.

قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّىۡۤ اَعُوۡذُ بِكَ اَنۡ اَسۡــَٔلَكَ مَا لَـيۡسَ لِىۡ بِهٖ عِلۡمٌ​ؕ وَاِلَّا تَغۡفِرۡ لِىۡ وَتَرۡحَمۡنِىۡۤ اَكُنۡ مِّنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ‏

"Preserve me, O Lord," said (Noah), "from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. If You do not forgive me and have mercy on me I shall be among those who perish."

قَالُوۡۤا اَتَعۡجَبِيۡنَ مِنۡ اَمۡرِ اللّٰهِ​ رَحۡمَتُ اللّٰهِ وَبَرَكٰتُهٗ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اَهۡلَ الۡبَيۡتِ​ؕ اِنَّهٗ حَمِيۡدٌ مَّجِيۡدٌ‏

"Why are you surprised at the command of God? God's mercy and blessings be upon you, O members of this household," they said. "Verily He is worthy of praise and glory."

اِلَّا مَنۡ رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَ​ ؕ وَلِذٰلِكَ خَلَقَهُمۡ​ ؕ وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ لَاَمۡلَـئَنَّ جَهَـنَّمَ مِنَ الۡجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَ‏

Except those on whom your Lord had mercy for which He has created them. But fulfilled shall be the word of your Lord. "I will fill up Hell with jinns and men."

وَمَاۤ اُبَرِّئُ نَفۡسِىۡ​ۚ اِنَّ النَّفۡسَ لَاَمَّارَةٌۢ بِالسُّوۡٓءِ اِلَّا مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّىۡ ؕاِنَّ رَبِّىۡ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏

But I do not wish to absolve myself, for the soul is prone to evil, unless my Lord have mercy. Indeed my Lord is forgiving and kind." --

يٰبَنِىَّ اذۡهَبُوۡا فَتَحَسَّسُوۡا مِنۡ يُّوۡسُفَ وَاَخِيۡهِ وَلَا تَايۡــَٔسُوۡا مِنۡ رَّوۡحِ اللّٰهِ​ؕ اِنَّهٗ لَا يَايۡــَٔسُ مِنۡ رَّوۡحِ اللّٰهِ اِلَّا الۡقَوۡمُ الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ‏

O sons, go in search of Joseph and his brother, and do not despair of the mercy of God. Only they despair of God's mercy who do not believe."

قَالَ وَمَنۡ يَّقۡنَطُ مِنۡ رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهٖۤ اِلَّا الضَّآلُّوۡنَ‏ 

"Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray."

وَاخۡفِضۡ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحۡمَةِ وَقُلْ رَّبِّ ارۡحَمۡهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيٰنِىۡ صَغِيۡرًا ؕ‏

"And look after them with kindness and love, and say: "O Lord, have mercy on them as they nourished me when I was small."

رَبُّكُمۡ اَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡ​ؕ اِنۡ يَّشَاۡ يَرۡحَمۡكُمۡ اَوۡ اِنۡ يَّشَاۡ يُعَذِّبۡكُمۡ ​ؕ وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَكِيۡلًا‏

Your Lord knows you better: He may have mercy on you if He please, or punish you if He will. Yet We have not sent you as warden over them.

اِلَّا رَحۡمَةً مِّنۡ رَّبِّكَ​ ؕ اِنَّ فَضۡلَهٗ كَانَ عَلَيۡكَ كَبِيۡرًا‏ 

Unless your Lord have mercy. His blessings on you are great indeed.

قُلْ لَّوۡ اَنۡـتُمۡ تَمۡلِكُوۡنَ خَزَآٮِٕنَ رَحۡمَةِ رَبِّىۡۤ اِذًا لَّاَمۡسَكۡتُمۡ خَشۡيَةَ الۡاِنۡفَاقِ​ ؕ وَكَانَ الۡاِنۡسَانُ قَتُوۡرًا‏

Say: "Even if you owned the stores of the mercy of my Lord, you would have held them back for fear of spending them, for man is niggardly."

وَاِذِ اعۡتَزَلۡـتُمُوۡهُمۡ وَمَا يَعۡبُدُوۡنَ اِلَّا اللّٰهَ فَاۡوٗۤا اِلَى الۡـكَهۡفِ يَنۡشُرۡ لَـكُمۡ رَبُّكُمۡ مِّنۡ رَّحۡمَتِهٖ وَيُهَيِّئۡ لَـكُمۡ مِّنۡ اَمۡرِكُمۡ مِّرۡفَقًا‏

(And they said to each other:) "Now that you have withdrawn from them and what they worship beside God, it is better to take refuge in the cave. Your Lord may bestow of His mercy on you, and facilitate your affair."

اِنَّهٗ كَانَ فَرِيۡقٌ مِّنۡ عِبَادِىۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا وَارۡحَمۡنَا وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الرّٰحِمِيۡنَ​​ۖ​ۚ‏

There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.'

وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ وَارۡحَمۡ وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الرّٰحِمِيۡنَ‏

Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful."

وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهٗ فِى الدُّنۡيَا وَالۡاٰخِرَةِ لَمَسَّكُمۡ فِىۡ مَاۤ اَفَضۡتُمۡ فِيۡهِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيۡمٌ​ ۖ​ ۚ‏

Were it not for the grace of God and His mercy upon you in this world and the next, you would have suffered a great affliction for the false accusation.

وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهٗ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ رَءُوۡفٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏

But for the grace of God and His mercy (much harm would have been done); yet God is compassionate and kind.

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَتَّبِعُوۡا خُطُوٰتِ الشَّيۡطٰنِ​ ؕ وَمَنۡ يَّتَّبِعۡ خُطُوٰتِ الشَّيۡطٰنِ فَاِنَّهٗ يَاۡمُرُ بِالۡـفَحۡشَآءِ وَالۡمُنۡكَرِ​ ؕ وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهٗ مَا زَكٰى مِنۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ اَحَدٍ اَبَدًا وَّلٰـكِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُزَكِّىۡ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ سَمِيۡعٌ عَلِيۡمٌ‏ 

O you who believe, do not follow in the footsteps of Satan, for he who follows in the footsteps of Satan will be induced by him to what is shameful and forbidden. But for the grace of God and His mercy upon you none of you would have escaped undefiled; but God makes whosoever He will grow in goodness, for God is all-hearing and all-knowing.

وَاَقِيۡمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَ اٰ تُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَاَطِيۡـعُوا الرَّسُوۡلَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُوۡنَ‏

So observe your devotional obligations, pay the zakat, and obey the Apostle so that you may be shown mercy.

يُعَذِّبُ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَيَرۡحَمُ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ ​ۚ وَاِلَيۡهِ تُقۡلَبُوۡنَ‏ 

Punish whom He will, and have mercy on whom He please. And to Him will you be brought back in the end.

وَالَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَلِقَآٮِٕهٖۤ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يَٮِٕسُوۡا مِنۡ رَّحۡمَتِىۡ وَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ‏

Those who deny the signs of God and the meeting with Him, cannot have hope of My mercy. There is a painful punishment for them.

وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖۤ اَنۡ يُّرۡسِلَ الرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرٰتٍ وَّلِيُذِيۡقَكُمۡ مِّنۡ رَّحۡمَتِهٖ وَلِتَجۡرِىَ الۡفُلۡكُ بِاَمۡرِهٖ وَلِتَبۡتَغُوۡا مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ‏

Among His signs are the breezes He sends as harbingers of happy news, so that He may allow you to taste of His mercy, and that ships may sail by His command, and you may seek of His bounty, and may haply be grateful.

قُلۡ مَنۡ ذَا الَّذِىۡ يَعۡصِمُكُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ اِنۡ اَرَادَ بِكُمۡ سُوۡٓءًا اَوۡ اَرَادَ بِكُمۡ رَحۡمَةً ​ؕ وَلَا يَجِدُوۡنَ لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِيًّا وَّلَا نَصِيۡرًا‏

Say: "Who will save you from God if He decide to afflict you or show you His mercy?" They will never find a friend or helper apart from God.

كَمۡ اَهۡلَـكۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ مِّنۡ قَرۡنٍ فَنَادَوْا وَّلَاتَ حِيۡنَ مَنَاصٍ‏

How many generations have We destroyed before them who cried (for mercy) when it was too late for escape.

اَمۡ عِنۡدَهُمۡ خَزَآٮِٕنُ رَحۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ الۡعَزِيۡزِ الۡوَهَّابِ​ۚ‏

Do they have the stores of the mercy of your Lord, the mighty and munificent?

اَمَّنۡ هُوَ قَانِتٌ اٰنَآءَ الَّيۡلِ سَاجِدًا وَّقَآٮِٕمًا يَّحۡذَرُ الۡاٰخِرَةَ وَيَرۡجُوۡا رَحۡمَةَ رَبِّهٖ​ؕ قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِى الَّذِيۡنَ يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ وَالَّذِيۡنَ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ​ؕ اِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ اُولُوا الۡاَلۡبَابِ‏

Can one who prays in the watches of the night, bowing in homage or standing attentive, fearful of the life to come, and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, (be like one who does not)? Say: "Can those who know, and those who do not know, be equal? Only they think who are wise."

قُلۡ يٰعِبَادِىَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَسۡرَفُوۡا عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ لَا تَقۡنَطُوۡا مِنۡ رَّحۡمَةِ اللّٰهِ​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَغۡفِرُ الذُّنُوۡبَ جَمِيۡعًا​ ؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِيۡمُ‏

Say: "O creatures of God, those of you who have acted against your own interests should not be disheartened of the mercy of God. Surely God forgives all sins. He is all-forgiving and all-merciful.

اَلَّذِيۡنَ يَحۡمِلُوۡنَ الۡعَرۡشَ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهٗ يُسَبِّحُوۡنَ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَيُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِهٖ وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡنَ لِلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا​ ۚ رَبَّنَا وَسِعۡتَ كُلَّ شَىۡءٍ رَّحۡمَةً وَّعِلۡمًا فَاغۡفِرۡ لِلَّذِيۡنَ تَابُوۡا وَاتَّبَعُوۡا سَبِيۡلَكَ وَقِهِمۡ عَذَابَ الۡجَحِيۡمِ‏

The bearers of the Throne, and those around it, sing the praises of their Lord and believe in Him, and seek forgiveness for those who believe: "O our Lord, Your mercy and knowledge embrace everything; so forgive those who turn to You in repentance and follow Your path; and preserve them from the torment of Hell.

وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّاٰتِ ؕ وَمَنۡ تَقِ السَّيِّاٰتِ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ فَقَدۡ رَحِمۡتَهٗ ؕ وَذٰ لِكَ هُوَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِيۡمُ‏

Protect them from evil; and whosoever You preserve from evil on that Day shall have surely received Your mercy. This will be the great triumph."

رَحۡمَةً مِّنۡ رَّبِّكَ​ؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡعَلِيۡمُۙ‏

A mercy from your Lord. Verily He is all-hearing and all-knowing,

وَمِنۡ قَبۡلِهٖ كِتٰبُ مُوۡسٰٓى اِمَامًا وَّرَحۡمَةً  ​ ؕ وَهٰذَا كِتٰبٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّسَانًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّيُنۡذِرَ الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا ​ۖ  وَبُشۡرٰى لِلۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ​ۚ‏ 

There was the Book of Moses before this, a guide and a mercy; and here is this Book confirming it in lucid language, warning those who are wicked, and giving happy tidings to the righteous.
